Supported by a successful track record of more than 25 years in business, three import-export companies in the Free Zone of Colon and representing exclusive brands such as Disney, Nickelodeon, Mattel, and Bratz among others, in 2002 K Group decided enter the real estate and construction industry, focused on tourism.
The group has two projects under construction: Emerald Bay, in the exclusive and enchanting island of Contadora in Las Perlas Archipielago, and Coronado County Club Resort, a project made up of 300 apartments and houses located in the most developed tourist zone in Panama. Both projects are being marketed internationally.
In 2004, K Group acquired a parcel of land in Punta Pacifica, an exclusive area in the city of Panama which has now become the most sought-after property in the region.
In March 2006, K Group agreed to build the most spectacular development in the history of the country jointly with Mr. Donald J. Trump. With an investment estimated at $450 million dollars, the K Group will build the new Trump Ocean Club International Hotel and Tower Panama, a landmark that will be inaugurated from mid 2010 to late 2010.
Currently, this group is developing other properties in the Gatun Lake (Panama Canal) and on an Island on the Pacific Ocean very close to the city.
